Personal Weight loss Challenge….
I have perchased a treadmill and geared up to eat better and lose 42 pounds in 100 days. This is 3 stone or 19.5 kg.
Today is DAY ONE…
My weight today is 95 kg
My plan for today is :-
1.)Start with 15 min warm up on the treadmill.
2.)A good breakfast.
3.)A proper workout on the treadmill at lunch time or later and repeat in the evening…
LETS SEE IF I CAN ACHIEVE THE CHALLENGE.
Yesterday i went for a walk of 25min and did 35 min total on the treadmill . I realised how unfit i am when i was out of breath at between 5 and ten minutes and my heart rate went up high. So i paced myself two ten minute periods and one five minute period. Speed no higher than 4.4 km per hour. I had a knee op last year and higher speeds lead to pain and then the inability to do anything the next day. I am pleased with yesterdays results. Yesterday bodyfat measured as 36.5 %….this willchange. This morning weight is 93.9kg…. every little helps. The plan continues.. eat healthy and exercise more.
Yesterday i did 40 min on the treadmill as i am back at work so got home after 7 pm. It was worth it. I did not eat as well as i could have as i had rice with my evening meal. Despite this my weight is now 93 kg. I am craving very sweet things today but will try to avoid this. It is not easy to stay on the straight and narrow. thanks for the comments of encouragement.
Today is wednesday 15th June 2011…. or DAY 5….. yesterday i did 44 min on the treadmill, ate sensibly… weight static 93 kg…. i will push it harder today…
Today 16th June 2011, DAY6 …. WEIGHT 92.5KG. YESTERDAY 36 MIN ON THE TREADMILL. Went out to dinner but exercise prevailed over potential weight gain. Avoided sweet thins but did have prawns cooked in oil with chilli’s and a potato dish and olives…. i love Tapas.
Friday 17th June — day 7…. 42 MIN YESTERDAY ON THE TREADMILL…WEIGHT THE SAME AS YESTERDAY…. am i losing the battle—- i will push on….92.5kg
Day 8 Saturday the 18th June 2011…. Generally a good week. I have eaten 3 meals a day, i have avoided things between meals. I have exercised everyday on the treadmill with yesterday 43 minutes. My Knee on which i have had at least 7 surgeries holds up well as long as i keep the incline below 5 degrees ..if i go above this it starts to really hurt me after a few minutes and limits the next days exercise. My weight this morning is 91.9kg. This is a 3.1 kg loss in seven days…. I AM ECSTATATIC. Nothing breeds success like success itself. For pounds people out there this is about 6.8 lbs which is almost a pound a day on average.
Day 9 Sunday 19th June 2011 , weight this morning 91.3 kg … yesterday 62 min on the treadmill. Cheated and had a few pints of beer yesterday but still generally ate well leaving out junk food and sweets. Total loss to date 3.7 kg which is just over 8lbs.
Days 10,11,12,13,14 ie 20th june till 24 june i have been on a conference in Edinburgh, I have exercised on the treadmill everyday but have not been able to watch my diet what with being entertained etc… I think i may have put on a few pounds. Today is day 15 the 25th june… I will weigh myself on day 16 in the morning to see where i am weight wise….55 min on the treadmill today.
Day 16 weight is 92.2 kg so i have gaine 900grams this week…. I will need to do better.
Day 17 Monday 27th June 45 min on the treadmill busy day, ate appropriately no fast food or rubbish, weigh tomorrow.
Day 18 weight 90.4kg ecstatic thats 4.6 kg loss i 17 days……=about 10 lbs
Today is the 9th july 2011…. Diet / exercise not as good as it could be. Weight today 89.6 kg. So have now lost 5.4 kg or 11.88 pounds…. off target for now as todais day number 29… oh well back to the treadmill…
Today is 13/07/2011 day number 33 / burnt 230 kcal on treadmill / ate sensibly— tomorrow am i weigh in wish me luck…
Today is 15/07/2011 day number 35 / burnt many calories / ate right…weight is 89.0kg…. So my weight is slowly dropping… i have now lost 6kg or 13,2 pounds.
22/07/2011 DAY 42 /Weight today 88.4 so have lost 6.6 kg or 14.52 lbs …ie 1 stone and half a pound….so two ston to go….
24/07/2011 day 44 Wight 88.2 so weight loss 6.8 kg… wish it was more but no exercise in two days so i should not complain.
28/07/2011 day 48 a good 4 days weight now 87.3 so loss is 7.7 kg hard work on treadmill 30 min a day at 5 degree gradient for most of the time with 10 min at 10 degrees
30/07 Day 50 my weight has not changed …frustrating but at least my fitness is improving. I can now do 15 min at 10 degree gradient and 4 km/hour and a further 15 min at 5 degrees …
August 4th 2011 … day 55 . Weight now 86.5 kg so have lost 8.5 kg or approximately 18.7 pounds….hard work .
11/08/2011 Day 62 Weight at 85 .3 kg treadmill 35 min at 10 degree gradient burning about 270 calories..
18/08/2011 Day 69 Weight 84.8 kg getting there but slowly…not sure i will lose enough weight in one hundred days.
25/08/2011 Day 76 Weight 83.9 kg …improving a little hard work on treadmill. Am planning on increasing exercise to try to reach goal.
03/09/2011 Day 85 Weight 82.5 kg approximately 27.5 pounds… aim was 42 pounds in 100 days…. it is going to be a hard ask but i am going to push this week.
05/09/2011 Day 87 Weight 82.1 kg….. in british that is about 28.3 ponds which is a little over 2 stone…and on we go….
